"Signature not updated, as the user profile was incomplete"

If you receive this message in your Ancoris Signatures log when trying to update your user's Signatures, this is because the user in question doesn't have the required profile information for one of the required merge fields in their Signature Template.

You can identify which profile information is missing from the user's signature by previewing the signature and spotting the placeholder text, to preview the signature do the following:

  1. Click Dashboard on the left hand navigation
  2. Go to the Manage Users tab
  3. Click the three dots next to a user you wish to preview then choose Preview signature
  4. Find the placeholder text to identify missing information

Once done, you can then either update the user's profile or edit the template to use a conditional merge field instead of a required field.
